  1. Top show last night Billy, who let in the loony sat in the gods?

Even the missus is a convert now and the neighbours I dragged along with us.

Gonna have to get a pic next time to take back to the office and show the

    guys that give me stick!!

Joke for your Irish section: Irishman goes to the Blacksmith for a job ..

Blacksmith says "have you ever shoed a horse before" ... Paddy replies "no

but I once told a Donkey to F*** off"!!!!

Hey ho, top show ..... roll on Panto time

    Laters Alex.

  4. we have just got home from the Blackpool show with five of our friends.

Brilliant show -you worked so hard - just to let you know that your talents

    are greatly appreciated.

Would like to say you have a great singing voice. Why not do a couple

    seriously.

Eat your heart out Joe Longthorne.

Wish we could remember more of your jokes.

    Thanks a lot,

    Anne and Paul

  5. Hiya Billy.

Just to say thanks for a brilliant show at the North Pier last Tuesday 29th.

It was lovely to chat to you again after the show too. Hope to see you again

    before too long.

    Love

    Ruth & Richard

  6. Hi Billy, Time again at the end of your Summer season to say thanks for all your hard work and what a great show it was this season. It sounds as though you had sell out shows more than once. Nice pictures from North Pier. They sell the best coffee in Blackpool beside the theatre and best for service too, Im sure the staff were sick of seeing me every morning & afternoon. At least it was only one week in the year.

Good luck with the pantomine and I hope it goes well for you again. We as a family go to the Edinburgh Kings and its now part of the yearly family events.

Any pictures you show after your panto season you always look well drained out, remember to eat well and keep healthy.

Entrants 24 will let me know of your summer season venues and things are starting to look better for me so I am sure I will see you next summer.

Thank you for the lovely smile you gave me when I was leaving Blackpool, your one of Britians real treasuresand the picture is locked on my memory along with you in your 'Super billy outfit', you just needed a swimming ring and flippers and you could have saved the Titanic?

I was a bit depressed at what I was going home to, unemployment after a bullying manager. But I've been offered a new job this week, so hopefully I can put the past life behind me.

Have a nice Christmas and enjoy the Panto season, all the best for the coming 2010. I'll be wishing you well for the New Year and I'll have to be working to gain another Smile & laugh next year where ever you are.

    Lots of love, Angela.

  20. Great show last night.

I thought you might be interested in the reaction of two young lads sat in

front of us last night. When you finished the joke about

''supersex'...''I'll just have the soup, please'', amidst the laughter the

14 year old leaned over to the 13 year old and said

''Did you get that one ?'' which became an added punchline for us.

It was good to see these two and lots of other children taking to your

    humour and enjoying the show.

Our youngest daughter is working in Mexico teaching dance to Thomson

holidaymakers and she is determined to catch the show when she returns in

September along with her boyfriend who really took to your act on video

from the Childrens variety performance and Des O'Connor show.

We will probably come to catch the show again with them.

    Thanks, again.

  23. Hi Billy

Saw you in blackpool the other day. thought you were 'chuffin' Hilarious.

The Titanic bit was brilliant. I also watch you in the pantos at

bradford..you are really good. Rob was brilliant and has a really good

    voice...

Do you ever get bored of saying the same jokes every week at shows?

    Thanks

    From Lauren x

  24. Hi There

Me and my hubby went to see your show in Bridlington on Wednesday and it was such a laugh and great to see kids and adults all having a good old chuckle together-not many comedians can make both laugh these days.

Will certainly recommend the show to the visitors here in Brid.

    Thank you

    Love Chrissie xx

  25. Hi Billy

Came to see your show on Tuesday night in Blackpool. You were lucky my son

and i were there. My wife caught swineflu on Friday and we had to cancel our

week holiday to Menorca .I came to Blackpool to give my son some fun. Any

panto (JAN 09) Due to illness as only been out to hospital and dr's

appointments until seeing you at Rotherham Civic. She's never stopped

best to you from irene & mick x

  32. Billy, we saw you in February at The Sea Breeze Hotel and subsequently

realised , following your morning song to the egg lady at breakfast, you

must be a comedian!! We then spotted your name in the forthcoming show at

The Palace and decided we must go and see you. Obviously we recognised the wedding shirt that you wore at the wedding!! Anyway, just to say we really

enjoyed last Friday evening at The Palace and you certainly made us all

laugh (just as you did at breakfast at The Sea Breeze!! The Jones and the

    Phillips families!

  33. Hi Billy Thanks for a great laugh last night at Bedworth Civic Hall. Last

year we travelled to Southport to see you so it was nice to see you down

here in the Midlands. It's always a special treat to see you wherever you

are. Keep up the good work!

    Jean Arrowsmith x

  34. Hi Billy,

Came to see you last night in Bedworth, as always you were brilliant!!!

We had a fab night, and it was great you being so local.

    Hopefullly seen you soon,

    Dawn xxxx

  35. Hi Billy,

Saw the show in Hunstanton last night. It was brilliant. Whether you're

doing family shows or adult, (as we saw you in at Stamford) you never fail

to make us laugh. Those poor people at the other end of the front row to

us. They obviously had a bit of a 'problem' shall we say!!!!

Anyway, many thanks again, all the very best with rest of the tour and see

    you in Blackpool in September.

    Ruth & Richard

    Bury St Edmunds.

  36. Hi Sweetie,

    norf' to see you :o(

Annnnnyways, keep doin what your doin

    Luffs Ya

    Sue

    XxX

  37. Hi Billy,

Just saw your show in Blackpool last Tuesday and it was fantastic. This is

the 8th time I have seen you live and I have seen you in the family shows,

adult shows and pantomime and you have been great every time. You never

fail to disappoint and always give the audience good value for money and you

can see that you really appreciate the fact that we have spent our hard

earned money coming to see you. It's just a shame that we dont see you on

TV these days. I am sick to death of all the so called "comedians" on TV

who think they are funny but couldnt hold a candle to you. Also all we get

is reality shows with z list celebrities and cheap TV programmes about

gardening, decorating, cooking etc. It's about time we had decent tv shows

and were entertained rather than just watching something because there is

nothing else on. Gone are the days when you used to look forward to a show

coming on TV, now we just have to be grateful for what we get. The theatre

    on Tues!

day was packed and everyone came away laughing and with a big smile on

their faces (even the kids). In these dark depressing days with everyone

going on about unemployment and the credit crunch we need people like you

who can keep us entertained and keep us laughing. Looking forward to seeing

you in panto at Bradford. Cheers.

  38. Chuffing good show, shirts a bit quiet,we are from Blackpool so we didnt miss

the bus!Have a great season ,hope to see you next year.

  42. The question i often get asked as a comedy performer is where do you go to

have a laugh ? The answer is always the same i love good quality all round

entertainment performed by by polished quality all round entertainers .

Following a stop over in Blackpool last night with the missus, two teenage

daughters & a 2yr old son. i quickly scanned the local whats on to find

    billys in town .

We arrived just in time for curtain up & all i can say mate is what a great

show 2hrs of solid good family entertainment

even my two year old stayed awake during the entire show.

(he even has a nap during daddys shows !!)

once again thanks for a great nights entertainment.

    sparky.

  44. Hiya billy we came to see your show in blackpool last night 1/9/09 and what

can i say it was an absolutely fabulous night we were sat on the front row

and from you coming on the stage you had us in stitches it was a most

enjoyable night and you should be very proud of what you do as you are brill

after the show we spoke to you in the bar and what a lovely man you are you

had time for all that wanted to speak have photos and autographs keep up the

good work you are a true star from joe ps hope you got home in your car ok.

  48. Hi Billy. Me and a few girls came to watch your show last night at

Bridlington - once again it was fab! Only problem was i had to sit through

half of it with my eyes shut!!! or covered over with a patch! Thursday

morning i was diagnosed with an ulcer on my cornea (ouch!!) and all i

thought was...Im not missing the show! So i battled on and came and although

i was in agony managed to see bits and listened to most! Ha ha how

embarassing the guy next to me thought i'd fallen asleep and i got a few

funny looks from the dancers as we were on the 3rd row...they must have

thought cheeky cow sat there with her eyes shut! Anyway...you never fail to

entertain us. we had a right laugh especially when the bomb went off! Bet

the sales in Tena Lady went up!!! Anyway, take care. Look forward to seeing

you in Bridlington again. Ta-ra chuck... Louise

to meet you on tuesday 28th september at the North Pier Blackpool. A big

thank you for having your photo taken with us after the show, you posed with

me and my girlfiend, wish all stars were as nice as you and give the time

that you do. All the best.

  57. Saw you at the Hull New Theatre last night...cracking show...very enjoyable.

You've come a long way since appearing for the 'Goole Ambulance Social Club' at the Vikings hotel. Another classic night.

  58. hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii billyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

  59. Hi Billy,

We came to see you opening night at North Pier managed to get soaked in the process as a certain dog relieved itself right in our direction (might think again about getting front row seats). Great show though you have a nice cast around you as well, saw Carol last year when she was supporting Joe at the Pier, she's got a great voice. Enjoyed 'Joseph' segment of the show.

Would be nice to see you sing a full song Billy like you did last year but the show is cram packed from start to finish and EXCELLENT value for money for all the family. Keep up the good work and we'll come through to see you again.

    Take Care

Mel & Steve (Manchester) xx :-)

  60. Hi Billy,.. This is great,...to see your cheeky face again just brings a smile to my face,.. I know you wont remember me as its been years,.. but you will remember the venue!

In the early to mid 90's you played at Scarborough North Yorkshire,.. & I would come along & watch you in the cosy theatre there on the seafront called The Futurist with one or two girl friends, being in our 20's at the time... we often left with a well toned tummy after watching your fabulous show!

Do you remember in your show you used to pretend that you didnt get roses thrown at you,,... so my friends & I purchased numerous roses & threw them at you on stage,. was very funny,.. the florist loved me when you were in town haha!!

You was & no doubt still are a very funny talented chappy & even after all these years you can stil make me smile when I think back to your shows!

Sometimes you would chat with me at the stage door,.. which was always great fun! Got some great photos with you too,.. thank you!!!

as a matter of interest I no longer live in Scarborough,.. now live near Brighton,.. any chance of you performing down here in there future??? Would be great to see you again after all these years,.. but do let me know in advance,.. need to cut a deal with a florist ;-)) haha!!!!!

Best wishes & hugs Nikki xx

  61. LOVE YOU

  62. Hi Billy, it's Sean, (dropped you home last night, or should I say this morning), really enjoyed the chat. Was a pleasure to meet you and your wife Kerry, thanks for the hospitality, the tea was spot on lol, maybe if we meet again i'll have a proper drink with you.

    All the best, Sean.

  63. Hi Billy,

saw you in Worthing last night, as I did the last couple of times

you were here (it's been far too long since then!) took my friend along as

she had never seen you before and what a what a great performance as always, havn't laughed so much in ages. Shame the turnout was poor-all those stupid people don't know what they're missing! Please don't leave it so long before you come back down south again, I will make sure I bring a coach load along to see you! Have you made any DVD's? Would love to know.

Keep up the great work. Karen x

  64. Hi Billy.

We saw you at Worthing last night and thought how great you were.

You made us laugh so much especially when those two people walked out. Why people go to shows if they are not going to enjoy them i dont understand. It

was a shame there were not more people in they missed a great evening.

    Best Wishes Sheila & Mick

  65. Just say what a fantastic show all of you were amazing. Please don't feel

bad over lack of bums on seats see as I said to Jimmy since NCP took over

all car parks in Worthing they make them run out mid way through shows so

people got to run all directions to move cars & they stand over awaiting to

book you. Last year I saw T.Rextasy & missed 14mins of show moving car. Plus also Worthing is terrible at putting up posters to let people know who is on then moan SAVE OUR THEATRE so frustrating. Main thing everyone loved it & enjoyed themselves I could not see as my glasses had steamed up through crying with laughter. You, Mick & Jimmy work so well together & hearing how Blackpool has changed since last I was their really got to book & check it out.

I work as carer with learning disability adults & find humour helps me

communicate more than any training. I don't care about looking daft as long

as they are happy & it does feel good to make people smile.

Great seeing you again - Stephen

  70. Hi Billy

I'm so excited you're performing 'down South' in May in the Laughter Show. I

first saw you at the Pavilion Theatre in Worthing when you supported Danny

La Rue and you were brilliant,I have never laughed so much. Since then my

mum and I have travelled to see you but unfortunately not for a while. Your

performance date is the day after my birthday and I can't think of better

    way to celebrate.

  71. Hi Billy,

Do you remember performing at Handsworth Wood in Birmingham in the MidEighties when you borrowed the venue's microphone and in house p.a. system,as yours was sounding funny? My step father was manager for Derek Jason(one of the Rockin' Berries) at the time, and we had complimentary ticketsto see your show after seeing your immaculate performance on the ITV summerspecial at Bournemouth. I met you afterwards for a drink. We commented onhow good the show went.

My vivid recall of your act was the rendition of 'Only You' by the platters when your voice was getting higher and higher and you joked..I couldnt have got a bus ticket between my cheeks then! Other jokes included Gypsy Rosa Lee being shut due to unforseen circumstances.Billy, this was the best thing we ever saw and unfortunately the recording of the performance was on good old betamax. I would really love to see that performance again and therefore ask you if you still have a copy? I moved to New! Zealand 2 years ago to have a stress free life. I highly recommend NZ for

    a visit.

    Regards, Richard Norman

  79. Thank you for a really great night. It was a shame that the theatre was only

half full. But it was better than a few years back when we saw you at the

Stag, Sevenoaks, Kent when the audience was any about three dozen. Even on

that night you gave everyone full value for money.

You are a great professional, it really is a shame that the further South

you get, people don't know about you.

Wish you really great success for the coming summer season.

    Regards ................ John Nash

  80. Thanks Billy for a great night last night in Stamford and for taking the

  81. Hiya Billy, Just to let you know that me, my hubby and oldest lad who is 19, had a fantastic time at the New Wheatsheaf on Friday night. It was the first time hubby has seen you, the oldest lad has seen you at a family show before, and they both loved it, and cant wait to come back and see you again.

I had been going to bring my mum to the show, but I think it will be best if she comes to one of the family shows, so we have decided to come and see you at Bridlington on the 16th July. We have already sorted out our tickets so will be looking forward to seeing you there.

    Cheers,

Look forward to seeing you soon

    Julie x

  84. Hello Billy

Some years ago I thoroughly enjoyed seeking you when you did a show in

Chester. I was wondering if you will be coming up Liverpool way some time

soon, as I could not see any dates listed for 2009 for this part of the

north west. It's good to see a good comedian still out there. Long may you keep going.

    Cheers.

    Rosemary Lane

  85. Hi Billy

Hope you and the family are keeping well. As usual a superb show. We all loved it. I kept looking at my 7 year old grandsons face and he was chuckling away like mad. I asked him which bit of the panto he liked best and he said 'All the bits with Billy in it'. My two granddaughters said they liked the horses. My wife loved all the dancing, scenery and costumes but she missed the sinister wicked stepmother. Some of our party got soaked, one had her underwear meticulously described to the audience and her son in law had to go on stage and be covered in foam. All in all it was a great fun spectacle. Fabulous scenery, costumes, sound and lighting, music, singing and dancing but as usual the fairy at the pinnacle of the Christmas Tree was ' Billy Pearce. ' I don't know what it would be like if you ever threw a sicky. You would need a very good understudy.

    Best wishes

    Steve

PS I dont know how you manage to put all that effort into so many back to back performances. Apart from your other many talents you have the knack of always making the audience feel that it is a one off performance just for them.
